Michael Graham will be performing along with Kaminari taiko at the Great Yorkshire Fringe in York, in their 'Matsuri' show. Michael will be playing koto and shamisen between Kaminari's thrundering drumming on Saturday 23rd July at 4pm and on Sunday 24th July at 7.30pm at the Turnpot stage, in the town centre. 'Sankakei' will be performing 'On an Eastern Breeze' as part of the 'Writing on Air' festival, on April 17th at 3.15pm. The performance will take place at the Chapel FM studios in Leeds, (audience welcome - free), and will be simultaneously broadcast on the Chapel FM website/radio.

Sankakei will be performing 'On an Eastern breeze' in full, on Wednesday 2nd March between 7pm and 8, at Otley library. This will be a free event, as part of the 'Courthouse words' festival. Full details appear in the online Otley Courthouse March-August programme, on page 5.

Michael Graham will be playing a short 15minute slot at the Jam Sarnie open mic event in Wakefield.

This will take place at around 2pm at Mocca Moocho arts cafe at 10 Cross Square, Wakefield WF1 1PH.

This is a free event, billed as..... An afternoon of amazing music from local performers and guests from Leeds, York and Huddersfield. There will be acoustic music with an African vibe, Flamenco, Irish music with a wider world flavouring, Japanese koto, a-Capella Sam Cooke and Mozart, guitarists and singer songwriters, a bit of jazz mixed in and a jam session at the end! Bring your instruments. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
